MOVEMBER FUNDRAISING

The Movember Construction Challenge 2026: One Industry. One Goal. Building Better Men’s Health.

Across Canada, construction crews are going Mo-to-Mo for men's health, raising funds and getting the conversation started on site.

The Movember Construction Challenge brings Canada’s construction community together around one goal: better men’s health. Trades, suppliers, engineers, developers, and the people who build our homes, highways and skyscrapers go head-to-head in friendly rivalries, grow mighty Mo’s and compete for industry-wide bragging rights, all while helping create a future where men live happier, healthier and longer lives.

That’s what the Construction Challenge is about.

Companies large and small go head-to-head for men’s health, climbing the national leaderboard, raising funds and creating opportunities for conversations that might not otherwise happen. Teams bring the challenge to life in all kinds of ways — from site BBQs and boot drives to Shave Downs, stair climbs, toolbox talks and mental health panels.

And the impact is growing. In 2025, 238 teams and 1,744 participants raised $1.2 million, with Ledcor claiming the national trophy for the second year running. Together, the construction community is showing what’s possible when the industry comes together to make a difference.

What's in it for your team?

The moustaches are just the start. Sign up and your crew gets to:

  • Start the conversations that matter on site, in the office, and out on the road
  • Bring your people together across trades, departments, and locations
  • Compete alongside industry partners and see who comes out on top
  • Raise critical funds and awareness for a cause that impacts everyone in the sector
  • Learn the early signs and how to check in on someone
  • Change men's health outcomes in your own community

How do I get started?

  1. Create a team on movember.com and invite your crew to join.
  2. Start fundraising and engaging your team throughout November.
  3. Reach out to matt.forrest@movember.com for support getting your team involved and making the most of the challenge

That’s it, you’re ready to get to work. Bring your crew together, raise the bar for men’s health, and help build a healthier future for men.

Movember supports all individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community, including those who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual. Health disparities exist, with LGBTQIA+ individuals experiencing higher rates of mental health issues and discrimination, often exacerbated by stigma in healthcare. We advocate for the right to self-identify, protection from discrimination, inclusive education, and rights-affirming healthcare, ensuring everyone can lead a healthy, dignified life.

Movember acknowledge the many and varied experiences of people navigating their health and wellbeing, those who support them and those who came before us whose stories, struggles and strength have shaped what we know. We recognise those who have generously shared their knowledge and wisdom with us and honour those we have lost too soon. Their knowledge, insight and expertise are essential to improving the design, delivery and evaluation of the work that we do and their experiences remind us why this work matters.
