Movember and Pringles have teamed up to support men’s mental wellbeing.

Find out how Pringles have helped thousands of people get better checking in on a man that's struggling.

We all know that men’s health is full of stereotypes. One of these is that men don’t want to talk about their problems, well our research says otherwise. In fact, 77% of men believe that talking is an effective way to solve a problem.

But the sad reality is too many men (41%) say they have regretted opening up, with over half of them saying this negative experience would stop them opening up again. 45% of men who regretted opening up said the person they spoke to didn’t seem to respect them or care about their problem, whilst 30% said they didn’t feel taken seriously.  If men are ready to talk, then we need to make sure that we can provide the tools we need to listen.

We’ve been teaming up with Pringles since 2020. Together, our mission has been to give Pringles customers the tools they need to tackle conversations about mental wellbeing. Every Movember the moustaches on select cans of Pringles are transformed into QR codes, taking users to Movember Conversations, an online tool for help givers to learn to navigate a conversation about mental wellbeing. So how have we done so far?

  • 88% of people found Movember Conversations Useful (25,334 responses)
  • 85% of people learnt something new from Movember Conversations (24,253)
  • 12,557 people planned to reach out to someone with what they’d learned soon

This year we want to make sharing your mental wellbeing tips to be as simple as sharing your Pringles. Simply scan Mr. P’s moustache and check out our top tips for starting these conversations that matter.

“At Movember, we have long championed social connection as one of the most powerful factors for improving mental wellbeing. Our movement is all about bringing people together, and that’s why this partnership with Pringles is such a good fit. Together, we have been able to help thousands of people to develop the confidence they need to have these tough conversations and to strengthen their relationships.”

Movember supports all individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community, including those who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual. Health disparities exist, with LGBTQIA+ individuals experiencing higher rates of mental health issues and discrimination, often exacerbated by stigma in healthcare. We advocate for the right to self-identify, protection from discrimination, inclusive education, and rights-affirming healthcare, ensuring everyone can lead a healthy, dignified life.

Movember acknowledge the many and varied experiences of people navigating their health and wellbeing, those who support them and those who came before us whose stories, struggles and strength have shaped what we know. We recognise those who have generously shared their knowledge and wisdom with us and honour those we have lost too soon. Their knowledge, insight and expertise are essential to improving the design, delivery and evaluation of the work that we do and their experiences remind us why this work matters.

Movember Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
