Join The Movember Athletics Club and take on the World’s Toughest Half Marathon: The Point to Pinnacle.

This year, Movember is celebrating 13 years of sweat-drenched follicles in partnership with the Point to Pinnacle — the world’s toughest half marathon.

On Sunday 19 November, 3,000 racegoers will line up along the starting line in Hobart, Tasmania in the race to the Pinnacle.

The Movember Athletics Club tackles this epic race which starts at sea level and makes its way up through the clouds to the top of Mt Wellington at an elevation over 1,200 metres. And we want you to join us.

If you’re up for the challenge and want to be a part of the team, we want you to apply. Expressions of interest are now open with limited places available.

  • Hit fundraising milestones along the way
  • Provide their own travel to and from Hobart and accommodation in Hobart for the race
  • Represent, in training and in fundraising, Movember and our vision to have an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health

Movember supports all individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community, including those who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual. Health disparities exist, with LGBTQIA+ individuals experiencing higher rates of mental health issues and discrimination, often exacerbated by stigma in healthcare. We advocate for the right to self-identify, protection from discrimination, inclusive education, and rights-affirming healthcare, ensuring everyone can lead a healthy, dignified life.

Movember acknowledge the many and varied experiences of people navigating their health and wellbeing, those who support them and those who came before us whose stories, struggles and strength have shaped what we know. We recognise those who have generously shared their knowledge and wisdom with us and honour those we have lost too soon. Their knowledge, insight and expertise are essential to improving the design, delivery and evaluation of the work that we do and their experiences remind us why this work matters.
