So what is a Community Ambassador?
Community Ambassadors are outstanding Movember supporters who play a massive role in helping raise awareness and funds for men’s health in their local community.
As well as their own fundraising efforts, Community Ambassadors are involved in a range of opportunities - from speaking to media, motivating others and most importantly, connecting their community.
The Community Ambassador role is a voluntary, year-round position, with most action taking place during our campaign period (September to December).
We’ll get you set up with the right tools and support - then it’s your time to shine, leading the charge and making things happen.
You'll also get free Movember merchandise, invites to events and opportunities to connect with your fellow ambassadors. Sounding pretty good?
What we want from you:
- Engage community groups to create teams and fundraise this Movember.
- Host fundraising / awareness events within your community with a target of £1,000+ during the course of the campaign. Easy peazy.
- Dedicate some time to represent Movember through a range of activities - like sharing your personal connection with Movember across media, community events, and corporate audiences.
- Spread awareness of our cause areas during key moments of the year, such as Testicular Cancer Awareness Month.
- Volunteer at Movember events or pursue opportunities to represent at events in your community.
How does it all happen?
The program starts with training in London (accommodation and travel costs are covered). The Movember team train Ambassadors on all things Movember, with talks and workshops from staff as well as previous Ambassadors, giving them the tools, confidence and knowledge to go away and run a kick-ass campaign with their community.
Training will be held in London on Friday 11th September 2026.
