Get smooth. Find your groove. Grow your Mo.

The smoother the lip, the slicker the Mo.

The first rule of Movember is to start clean-shaven. Then it's grooming and growing that glorious Mo for 30 days and 30 nights. Join thousands of like-minded legends across the world and Shave Down with us on Movember 1st. Here's how it works.

STEP 1

GET SMOOTH

It’s been another bumpy year for humanity. And if we’ve learned one thing it’s this: a month of Movember fun is a sure-fire way to unwind, connect and have a tonne of fun. To smooth out the kinks, shave away the cobwebs and prepare for a month of having fun and doing good. Sign up now.

STEP 2

FIND YOUR GROOVE

Smooth operators, grab your razors, foam up those faces, and let’s get this hairy party started. You can Shave Down solo, rally a Zoom crew with friends or colleagues, or host an in-person Shave Down shindig. Whatever you do, be sure to shoot some video, snap plenty of pictures, and share your Shave Down on social media. A Movember-style Shave Down is for anyone and everyone, not just those growing moustaches. Assemble a crew, find your groove and share the fun.

STEP 3

GROW YOUR MO

Looking and feeling smooth and groovy, now it’s time to launch. You shared your Shave Down, you kicked off your fundraising, now you’re primed and ready for a month of laughs and moustachery.

Movember supports all individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community, including those who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual. Health disparities exist, with LGBTQIA+ individuals experiencing higher rates of mental health issues and discrimination, often exacerbated by stigma in healthcare. We advocate for the right to self-identify, protection from discrimination, inclusive education, and rights-affirming healthcare, ensuring everyone can lead a healthy, dignified life.

Movember acknowledge the many and varied experiences of people navigating their health and wellbeing, those who support them and those who came before us whose stories, struggles and strength have shaped what we know. We recognise those who have generously shared their knowledge and wisdom with us and honour those we have lost too soon. Their knowledge, insight and expertise are essential to improving the design, delivery and evaluation of the work that we do and their experiences remind us why this work matters.

Movember Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
