Check Your Tucking Nuts

The Vivienne

This Movember, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner, The Vivienne, teams up with KP Nuts and Movember to get people checking their nuts.

As someone who spends a fair amount of time touching and tucking in her own testicles, The Vivienne knows what she’s talking about! That’s why the Queen of Drag has partnered with KP Nuts and Movember to remind the nation – if you’ve got ‘em, you need to check ‘em!

The Vivienne said: “Despite being such a serious illness, testicular cancer can be detected easily with self-examination and if caught early, there is a 95 per cent survival rate. Cancer doesn’t discriminate. So no matter who you are, or how you identify, it is absolutely vital that if you have nuts, you check them regularly. It doesn't matter if you let them hang or tuck them in, just check them my loves! It was such a fun day raising awareness for such an important cause with KP and Movember."

Movember supports all individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community, including those who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual. Health disparities exist, with LGBTQIA+ individuals experiencing higher rates of mental health issues and discrimination, often exacerbated by stigma in healthcare. We advocate for the right to self-identify, protection from discrimination, inclusive education, and rights-affirming healthcare, ensuring everyone can lead a healthy, dignified life.

Movember acknowledge the many and varied experiences of people navigating their health and wellbeing, those who support them and those who came before us whose stories, struggles and strength have shaped what we know. We recognise those who have generously shared their knowledge and wisdom with us and honour those we have lost too soon. Their knowledge, insight and expertise are essential to improving the design, delivery and evaluation of the work that we do and their experiences remind us why this work matters.
