Young Men's Health in a Digital World: How influential are the influencers?

Influencers that create masculinity content are amassing millions of young male followers online. But until now, almost no research has asked young men themselves what they think about it. Movember's 2025 report surveys over 3,000 young men aged 16–25 across Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States to find out how this content is shaping their health, their identities, and their view of the world.

WHO IT’S FOR

PARENTS & FAMILIES

To understand what young men are watching, why it appeals to them, and how to have informed conversations about online masculinity content.

GOVERNMENT & POLICYMAKERS

To understand the scale of masculinity influencer engagement among young men, and access evidence to inform platform regulation, media literacy and mental health policy.

HEALTH PRACTITIONERS

To understand how online content is shaping young men's attitudes to health, help-seeking and gender roles, and how we can engage them more effectively.
