Fundraising for cause areas including:
Prostate cancer

Movember has always been for my dad. He was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in ‘16 and told he might only have 5 years to live. Through countless operations, treatments & counselling for the affects on his physical and mental health, he beat the odds. This Oct ‘22, we received news that the cancer had progressed more aggressively & spread outside his prostate to his bones. The status is still unknown, but the fight continues.

Movember provided my family with the knowledge & support to deal with the prostate cancer, to talk openly about it & remove the stigma within Chinese culture. This cancer was a wake up call for my dad, to change his diet and lifestyle, to live life to the fullest. 7 years later, I continue to use Movember as a platform to raise awareness for prostate cancer, to inspire women to protect the men in their lives and encourage them to get checked early!

Prostate cancer is the 4th leading cause of male cancer deaths in Hong Kong and by 2030, Movember aims to halve the number of deaths from prostate cancer, so I'm doing my part to help them get there. This year marks my 7th Movember as a Mo’ Sister & I will run an average of 7km a day & take part in 1x big Mo’ challenge every weekend in Nov (4x in total).

This year is about bringing people together, so I will also be donating my time to support other Movember initiatives and fundraisers in the community. To really get people involved and MOVE-ing for Movember for men’s health! I’m doing it for my dad, uncles, brothers, friends and their families too. Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! ❤️

For the young guys: think beyond the box. You’re a lot smarter than you think you are. For the older guys: do exercise with your heart. You’re a lot younger than you think you are.

To my baby girl Claudia: I don’t say it enough because I don’t need to, but I’m so proud and impressed by you. Thanks for devoting such tremendous amounts of time and strength to Movember for me for the last 7 years. I chalk up my life for you, one happy day at a time.

Love always,
Daddy
