My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

For a long time, I struggled with my mental health in silence. As a Latino man, I was raised to believe that being strong meant not talking about pain, not asking for help, and pushing through no matter how heavy things felt. I ignored the warning signs and carried everything on my own until I reached a point where I felt completely overwhelmed and lost.

Choosing to seek help was one of the hardest and most important decisions I’ve ever made. It showed me that asking for help isn’t weakness—it’s strength. While my healing came through that work, running is now a tool I use to manage stress, clear my head, and stay grounded, especially as a father.

Globally, suicide rates remain alarmingly high, particularly among men. Too many are still suffering in silence. I’m running and fundraising with Movember to help break the stigma and help stop men from dying too young.
