My motivation

UPDATE: due to storm Claudia, the weather conditions have become treacherous after a plummet in temperatures, so inexperienced hikers like me have been advised not to go. Experienced hikers will still be completing this mission, so money already donated is still going to a good cause and if you’d still like to donate it will spur the others on!

As first-year paramedic students, we see how vital mental health is - for our patients, our colleagues, and ourselves.

That’s why this Movember, we’re taking on a challenge close to our hearts. In November we’ll be climbing Snowdon, and at the summit performing *4,300* chest compressions - one for every man who lost his life to suicide this year. Each compression represents a life, a heartbeat, and a reminder that no one should face their struggles alone.
