My motivation

This Movember, I’m taking on the physical challenge of walking 60km over two days (November 15th/16th) to raise money and awareness for men’s mental health. I decided to do this because the cause is very close to me. After leaving my previous school and friends, It had a large impact on my mental health and i found it very hard to find ways to communicate what i was going through. I understand how hard it can be to reach out for support and by pushing myself through this challenge, I want to show support for all the men and boys out there and help fund initiatives that encourage men to talk about what they’re facing. Every contribution to my Movember campaign will go toward programs that help men feel less alone and get the assistance they need. This is a very overlooked topic and I’m incredibly grateful for any support – a real difference can be made to show men everywhere that it’s okay to speak up and seek help.
