My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

As a boy I was aware of the impact of declining mental health. My dad suffered from depression for much of my life. As a man, I and many friends have had challenges too. Men are struggling, some opting out completely. It's time we shouldered the burden together.

I'm hiking the highest peak in the Contiguous United States, Mount Whitney (14,505ft), with a 75lb (34kg) pack.

14,505 X 34 = 493,170, roughly the number of men who die by suicide every year.

If one bears the weight, we all bear the weight.
