My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Prostate cancer

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health, and this Movember I'm joining them. Together we can make a difference for men's health – in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Help me stop men dying too young.

Two years ago, I was diagnosed with — and promptly treated for — prostate cancer. While I am still working with my doctor to monitor my condition, my prognosis is excellent… thanks to capable care, good insurance, regular checkups and very early detection.

Sadly, many other cases of prostate cancer are found too late for minimally invasive therapies, or after the cancer has metastasized. There are a lot of complex reasons that this is so, but one thing we can all do to change it is to encourage our friends and family to get screened, get tested, and get the care they need.

Your support for Movember goes directly to advocacy, research, treatment, and helping the patients and families who need a hand. Our family will be matching the first $1000 in donations to this important cause.
