Welcome to Mount Waddington, where brave climbers conquer the impossible. Inspired by the spirit of overcoming challenges, we're embarking on a journey that transcends the summit. Teaming up with the Movember Foundation, we're climbing for a cause, raising awareness about men’s health issues.

Mark Schattenberg's story mirrors the struggles men face. After a life-altering accident, he found strength in brotherhood and movement during his Mustache Madness expedition to Denali. His experience symbolizes resilience in the face of despair, echoing the mission to empower individuals and foster camaraderie.

Denali's ascent parallels life’s hardships. In a world focused on academia, men grapple with depression and suicide. Mustache Madness stands as a beacon, showcasing healthy coping mechanisms. Through brotherhood, movement, and open communication, we lift the weight of mental health issues off shoulders.

Mark, I just read your article and I could not be more proud of the man you are today. Thank you for sharing your struggles and dedicating yourself to shinning a light on men’s mental health. I’m not sure if you remember me, but I was your teacher when you were very young. I work with older students now. I have one student in particular who was in a car accident and has a traumatic brain injury. I tell him every day that I know he is meant to do great things. I feel deep inside of me that one day he will inspire people. I can’t wait to show him your article tomorrow! Keep growing! We never stop learning!!! Marcy Brooks
